S.I.N.D.A Club

The SINDA club was founded initially as a Lada Owners club in 1991 by a group of enthusiastic and committed Niva owners. Although the club initially catered for the owners of Niva’s, all 4WD vehicles are welcome. All new members are welcome. SINDA is an association of 4WD owners based in Christchurch. We are a family orientated group, with a mixture of easy, medium and harder trips.
The SINDA Club is a great place to meet others with an interest in off-roading. We also provide a safe way to explore terrain, which might otherwise be closed to individuals or even dangerous to venture into alone. We enjoy and preserve nature with a read lightly policy.
We are a friendly group of people and encourage others to enjoy our sport. We are usually the loudest bunch as well with good support for anyone who is prepared to give it a go.

Club Aims:

To have fun and share our knowledge of places to take our 4WD’s in the South Island.
To share mechanical knowledge of the 4WD, and to promote longevity, safety and performance.
To save money while accomplishing the above.
To promote safe and conservation minded four-wheel driving.
To meet other people with similar interests.

Club Focus:
Events, Weekend and Sunday day trips with a focus on being there and supporting each other and 4wding in general. Training Days and Fun Social events. We are a family orientated Club.

Club Vehicles:
Mixed vehicle types mainly standard with some modifications. We have a real mix of vehicles from the infamous Niva’s, loads of Lnadcruiser’s , some Isuzu’s, Pajero’s, Mu’s, etc.

Club Supports:
Local Charities and children’s groups.
We encourage and support women drivers and Family days.

Meetings:
Every Third Wednesday of each month except December, 7.30pm at Papanui RSA lounge on right at entry.
